Instructions

  1. Prepare the pan. Butter or grease a 9×13 inch baking pan thoroughly to prevent the bars from sticking once set.
  2. Melt the base mixture. In a large saucepan, combine 5 cups of mini marshmallows, 1 1/2 cups of milk chocolate chips, 5 tablespoons of butter, and 1/4 cup of corn syrup. Heat on low, stirring gently with a rubber spatula until everything is melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and add cereal. Once fully melted, take the saucepan off the heat and place it on a heat-resistant surface. Immediately stir in the 7 cups of Golden Grahams cereal along with the remaining 1 cup of mini marshmallows. The mixture will be very sticky.
  4. Shape the bars. Spoon the sticky batter into the prepared pan and use the back of your spatula to flatten it evenly. Lightly greasing the spatula can help in smoothing the surface.
  5. Set the bars. Let the mixture cool and harden at room temperature for about 60 minutes, allowing it to set completely before slicing.
